Who would have suspected that we’d have more rain this month? With a downpour arriving every time we step outside, it’s been perfect weather for ducks.
Fundraiser #2 update
The second fundraiser for the Dunmore Range Association is still progressing well with an expanded prize pool of ~ $10,000 for our followers and includes peak bodies within our sports shooting community and will be open to the Australian East coast instead of just Queensland.
Range Design & Construction
La Nina has continued to make her presence known to the Queensland East Coast with unexpected rainfalls coming on otherwise sunny days. It is not so much the rain itself but how quickly it comes down with 17mm falling within 15 minutes on Friday 25th while trucks were trying to deliver fill for the site.
Roadways
Safe ingress and egress are a priority for us as it’s no good getting you onsite if you can never leave…
The Range Cat has made a huge difference with around 30Km of internal roadways cleaned up and leveled. A huge thank you to Excavation Equipment in Toowoomba for supplying the D6R and to WR Crane Hire (White Pages) for getting her onsite.





Equipment & materials
The first AR500 steel targets have arrived thanks to the generous Pete Kincade. Pete organized the plates with Black Carbon and we’ve also been using their MIL paper targets since they were first recommended in 2020 by Practical Sports for accurate testing; not that we have anything against MOA…
