The view at 3000m
At almost 390m above sea-level, Turtle Rock is one of the highest points on Dunmore Range and serves as the backstop for 3000m targets. It’s also acting as our de-facto communications point during development.

The soil & geology of the Range varies from volcanic soil and stone to sand, sandstone (like Turtle Rock) and sedimentary layers that include river rocks, lightning eggs and more sandstone all some 30 meters above ground level.
As the most north-western point, Turtle Rock is the best place for sunsets.
